Is Doxnest really free?
Yes. All 14 launch tools are free to use with no account, no email gate before download, and no paywall on core PDF export. We may add optional paid features later, but the generators you use today stay free.
How do PDF downloads work?
Your document is rendered entirely in your browser using client-side PDF generation. When you click Download PDF, the file is built on your device and saved through your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Can I edit every field and wording?
Yes. Labels, line items, notes, and most statutory helper text are editable. Calculated lines update when you change inputs. Optional sections can be left blank and are omitted from the PDF when empty.
Does my document data leave my browser?
In v1, document field values are not sent to Doxnest servers. Drafts may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage under fdk.* keys) so you can recover work. See our Privacy Policy for analytics and cookies.
How accurate are tax and payroll calculations?
Calculations use versioned rule packs with cited official sources and unit tests, but they are estimates for planning only. Rates change, individual circumstances vary, and we do not guarantee compliance. Always verify with your accountant or regulator.
Which countries are supported?
Launch coverage includes Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, plus international tools such as scope of work. Each tool uses local terminology, currency, and date formats.
Do I need to sign up?
No account is required. You can open a tool, fill in fields, preview live, and download immediately.
Can I add my business logo?
Yes, on tools that support it. Logos are processed in your browser (size and type limits apply) and are not uploaded to a server.
What happens if I close the tab?
If autosave is enabled for that tool, a draft may be restored when you return on the same device and browser. Use Export JSON to back up important documents.
Download failed or the preview looks wrong — what should I try?
Refresh the page, fix any validation errors shown in the form, then download again. If PDF generation fails, try a recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Disable strict blockers that interfere with blob downloads.
A calculation looks incorrect — how do I report it?
Email calculations@doxnest.com with the tool name, tax year or period, your inputs (no full TFN/NI/ID numbers), and the expected result if you have one. We review against official sources.
Are these official government forms?
No. Templates are unofficial and for information only. They are not filed with HMRC, CRA, SARS, IRD, Revenue, or the ATO on your behalf.
